Of Mutated Totoro and Bloody Thumbs

Assalamualaikum! Hey ho, how are you? ^____^ So, for the module I'm currently studying, we are required to  prick our thumbs to get some blood sample for uuuhh...bloody experiments. All's well...sort of. Plus, we have to prick our thumbs again for the coming exam, in the experiment part. Hmmm....looking forward to that o___o But it's fun. Plus, I get to know my own blood group and that's a BONUS!

Future doctors playing "history taking" with a patient while pricking the patient's thumb.

>>>> On the right, we have the Dr. who taught us about how to do Blood Grouping.

When the section ended, we all began to be our vain selves hahaha.

Oh yeah!  I made an attempt on making a totoro origami. A mutated totoro origami it became. Note to self, use origami papers next time, and NOT your leftover/extra module question paper. Ciao, till next time! Have a nice day!

Loving Day

Assalamualaikum! How are you? :D As you can probably guess by my tone, I'm in a very chirpy mood. After being a hikikomori (a shut in) for almost 2 weeks due to study leave, I'm finally back on my feet. Cramped up trams, aside from being squished by sweaty armpits in the tram had made me realized that exams are finally over (for now) and I'm freeeee. Well, not really. Module 6's welcoming me with open arms. Okay, putting studies aside, I just got back from an awesome event! It was an event, specially dedicated for Leukemia children. There were face-painting (children here LOVE face painting btw), puppet shows, balloons, drawing, giving out presents and MORE. We even got to play with them! So, everyone tries to help out as much as possible like buying medicine and changing their bedsheets. A LOT of people came and by people, I mean students. My friends and I went there right after class and it was definitely worth our time!Oh yeah, the event took place at El-Shatby hospital :) Okay, I'm going to stop and let the pictures do the talking but before that, I would like to say that it was really fun and sad at the same time. These children deserve the best. I mean, they're too cute and adorable but due to their health, they can't play like healthy children can. It's the sad truth. I hope they'll get well really really really soon. So, please pray for them :D Thanks minna!

Let the flood begins....

Ciao and have a nice day!

Staying sane

True story. Something that I believe all medic students can relate to hehe.
