Fly away little bird!

Assalamualaikum. Hey, how's everyone doing?

I just want to start off this post by saying..."FREEDOM!!!" Exams are finally over!! I CAN SLEEP!!! And that pretty much marks the end of first year. So fast... but yeah, I SURVIVED!!! Haha at least for now. I'll be going back to Malaysia in a couple of days. SO EXCITED!!!

Putting that aside, today's post will have loads of pics hehe. PLUS PLUS PLUS it's going to be a tour + freedom + sexy air liur melelehing food adventure! ngaa~

So, our seniors (super kind and generous, May Allah bless them) took the 6 of us out as a farewell meeting, yes, apparently, we, the first years are the last ones to finish the exams. So, they're going back to Malaysia first. JELLY! haha. They were kind enough to buy us food to support us with our exams...I'm super grateful hurrhurrhurr. I had a blast, we shared food and our plans for the holidays.

Then came the part where we zombies burst to life haha. Yes, exams do that to you. These pics were taken directly after the exams were over so you can see our gleaming, beaming faces! Oh yeah, so I'm going to give a really really short tour of the convention centre aka the place where we do our exams, and where we'll continue during our clinical years.

Right behind me is the exam room. So far, the best exam room I've had this year. AIRCONDS how I love you! I'll explain in the following pic.

Here is the lobby.

"Pasrah."

And here we have the library.

I used to study here during the 1st sem :) I always sit at the furthest end near the windows where there's sunlight.

And now we come to this story here. See the open doors? The picture above is the cafeteria which is not operating since when, I don't know. Apparently, students with the last ID numbers will NOT be having their exams in the exam halls. And since my name starts with the letter Y, I mean "ya" , I am one of the student's with the last ID no. I'm in the last group and in the last section, I'm not complaining about that because my group is awesome and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. It's just that we are exam nomads. This cafeteria is one of the few places where I have to take my exams. It's fine during winter BUT OH MY GOD during summer,  I was sweating so much! No fans, no airconds whatsoever. But the examinors had to bring in some standing fans because it was too hot. That was really kind of them :D Good thing was, for our sem 2 finals, we only took 1 paper here, which was our 1st paper. Then we moved to a much cooler room, WITH airconds. NICE!! Speaking about the 1st paper, it was so funny to see the students' reactions after finishing the paper. Usually right, after the exams, the students will make quite a noise but on that particular day, everyone just packed their bags and slipped away. Just like that. Zombies I tell you.

RIGHT AFTER EXAMS....

...

Athira, one of my housemates and my best buddeh is leaving first for Malaysia. So we decided to break fast somewhere we've never been to and, Coffee Roastery is a famous place among Malaysian students, so we decided to give it a try.

This drink is called Kalkader, if I'm not mistaken, an oriental drink. It has a plumy taste and quite sour but ALL DELISH!

Let the sexy air liur melelehing food begins...

STEAK + FRIES+ PASTA

It was a really huge plate. We ordered the set and food keeps coming!

At first sight, the steak looks small, but I tell you by only eating the steak, you'll feel full already. And that's coming from a foodie.

All of us were in cloud 9 when we took our first bite.

Not to mention, the chicken and mushroom soup was delish! Thick, with a nice consistency.

And here comes desserts! Brownie with vanilla ice-cream + cream. I have to be honest, by this time, we were all so full, we just had to stuff this thing to finish the course. What I find most amazing, there was this one table, they ordered the same meal set but how DID THEY FINISH IT with such poise??? We had to take away some parts of the meal. And that's cheating hehe.

And then comes the part where we start to merepek about how nice it would be if at this time , we have four stomach compartments like the cow. But then again. cows kind of throw up and eat their food back and that just made us sicker. And the taboo word for the day was muntah, puke, throwing up and cheese. Just because we were so full. *burps* Alhamdulillah. For so much food, the price was incredibly reasonable. You'll never get such price in Malaysia for this whole course!

That's all for today's post. Hope you enjoyed it! I'm counting my days to Malaysia!!! Have a nice day. Ciao~

Exams and Sunshine

Assalamualaikum. Good day! Yeah, so I haven't been updating much lately..hrrr...

Exam's coming, just finished with my first ever clinical exam (ALHAMDULILLAH) , and NOW... for the moment we've all been "waiting" for.. FINALS!!! *hands flailing in the air*

So, I need to finish these three books + 1 Human Rights. My comment, very colorful modules *__*. I meant, "READ YANG READ! MEMORIZE EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!" ehem...ok. Wish me luck! I really hope everyone will do well for finals :) Good luck to you too!

Ok nuff bout exams!! >___<

So, I've been thinking about what to do with my life (why...suddenly so serious?)  Yes, Medicine is fun, but I try not to limit myself just to that. Try to think that you're NOT the busiest person on Earth and that way, you'll get more things done :) Like my previous post, I'd like to travel more to widen my perspectives on life itself. Plus, having some skills sounds awesome! For instance, Japanese language! Yes, that's definitely one of my goals, learning Japanese...and pottery! Pottery is sooo cool, I'm hoping to take pottery when I'm back home, but if that's hard to accomplish, for now, I'd like to play with porcelain. Cold porcelain and make crafts! I hope that when I'm home, I'll learn something or pick up some skills and not waste my time with nothingness(is that even a word?) haha yes, just because I believe that everyone has the right to good education. Was that too serious? OMG hehe.

From cold porcelain to

Awesome porcelain (Just one of the many stuff that you can do!)

Things to do in MALAYSIA not in any particular order (WEEEE~~ <3)

1) Jumpa family + friends and catch up!
2) Tarawikh with the family at Masjid Negeri
2) Alone time (video games, books, animes, dramas...o__o It's just you and me - hikikomori mode)
3) Cook for family ???(hrrrr....hehe sakit perut tak tau)
4) Pick up some skills (porcelain + Japanese)
5) EAT MALAYSIAN FOOD LA!!!
6) Go shopping or jalan-jalan with family/Fatihah
7) PUASA + RAYA
8) EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF

I hate to burst my own bubble, but finals' here and let's just concentrate on that now. DAYS OF EPIC TABLE FLIPPING EXPERIENCE  (exams) are ahead! Ganbatte on hitting those books! All the best to you too :D

Ciao and have a nice day!
